A place to hide - poem

I tried very hard to stay cheerful
yet I failed and have been tearful.
I need to find a place to hide
and made my heart close tight.
Where can I go other than here
where I am alone with God so near.
Giving Him all my sorrows
and thinking not about tomorrow.
Whatever will be let it be
for my life isn't all about me.
