Orchard Road Christmas Walk

Last night, I went to Orchard Road for a walk with my friends as planned. Never do that for many years already. It's nice to be able to just leisurely stroll down the lane at night.

Well, the whole road was lighted up with lots and lots of activities going on. There were a number of singing performances along the stretch of Orchard Road at various places. A nice feeling walking into the 'street of Bethleham' just in front of Ngee Ann City. You get to see people from all over the world as well. Good for pictures taking ya.

You may like to take a look at some pictures I have taken uploaded at my Rainbow blog.

Btw, there is no road block as what I thought. I think the road will only be blocked on Christmas eve and Christmas night instead.

If you are free, do drop by Orchard Road to catch the actual scene then...

Ya I agree. That means Singapore Tourism Board is doing a really good job isn't it!! :)

Another really beautiful place is The Altivo - at Mount Faber. They are different chill out and cafe concepts there, and is also the home for the world's tallest Xmas Tree. SImply breathtaking. Do drop by for a look! :D

Hmmn... the whole "Celebrate Christmas in Singapore" project is not organized by the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board. It is organized by many Churches in Singapore and it costs them about S$800,000 for the whole thing. There is still currently a short of fund of about S$550,000. Not sure how the fund is going to come, but I believe God will provide.

Wouldn't it be nice if it snows in Singapore?

Ya man. Thank God it didn't rain for the past few nights. Pray that it won't rain so that the Celebrate Christmas in Singapore events can be carried out smoothly.
