Orchard Road Closure on Christmas Day

The "Singing Christmas Tree" seems to be singing better each night. The one I saw last Sunday night was better than the one on last Friday night. Maybe it's b'cos those performing later have a better feel of the tree stage and could make the necessary changes according to the environment. It's an open-air stage so the choir's voices might be dispersed thin. Also the choirs do not have any chance for rehearsal on the tree stage before the actual performance.

I took a few more photo and have added them to my Rainbow blog album.

Hmmn...what's the person on the right-hand photo doing? :)

The photo right below is a Malaysia group.... these guys were dancing away happily when I took their picture. I was wondering why they were wearing cowboy hats. Was that Malaysian culture? Anyone has any clue??

Oh yes, it's confirmed now that Orchard Road will be closed to traffic on 25 Dec 2005, from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m., the following day, for the Christmas Celebration.

The section of Mount Elizabeth between Nutmeg Road and Orchard Road (towards Orchard Road) will also be closed. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
