Don't Give Up - poem

How I wish I could start anew
when I hear the words, "I love you".
I guess I have become so cold,
many words have left untold,
all my feelings seem so trapped...
who could on it like a tap?

Though I'm like ice hard and cold,
I can melt away just like gold.
It will take time to warm my heart
through patience and kindness, that's the art.
I can't be rushed and can't jump start...
if you love me don't give up.

It is a nice poem.

Personally, I think you would be nice and toasty for some one you truly loved - not needing defrosting.

I would further say: Those whose words find in you an icy heart, obviously have not taken the time to try and warm your heart. They act quickly to try and take what they want without appreciating a pearl of great value - a glutton instead of a connoiseur.

Of course, as usual, I may be way off base :-)

Take care.
