I Ask God Why - peom

Sometimes I ask God why not make me a bird;
If I were one, I will live above the earth
and be free from all cares and worries
that all humans tend to receive.

Sometimes I ask God why not make me male;
If I were one, I will have no fear
in doing the things that men should
and do them well and good.

Sometimes I ask God why made me female;
yet gave me the strengths that men fear
in a woman who is meant to be pretty,
docile, huggable and worry free.

Then God says He made me the way I am;
not an animal and not a man,
but a woman that is special in His plan
though my mind cannot comprehend.

The Sampan Boat - poem

Sitting inside the sampan boat
initial fear and worry made me choked;
then I was told to keep quiet and sit still
and trust in the boatman's skill.

Gladness and joy flooded my being
as I marvelled at what I was seeing;
the serene sea and flowing breeze
truly calm my soul and brought me peace.

And I remembered the bible story
of Jesus walking on the sea;
He told Peter, "come to me
by faith you can also walk on the sea."

Yes, when I can trust and obey
the Author and Finisher of our faith,
I can do the impossible thing
when I give God my whole being.

To sms her every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means she is in your mind

To call her every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means you like to hear her voice

To send her your photo every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means you like to share your life

To send her a card every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means you bother to do it


To let her know you'll be home late every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means you don't want her to worry

To listen to her rant every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means you care

To whisper sweet nothing to her every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means she is special to you

To do these small things every now and then
to you it's a small thing
but to her it means you love her


She doesn't need big things to make her happy
she just needs these small things
to be done regularly

She doesn't need expensive things to make her happy
she just needs these small things
to be done with sincerity

So is it so difficult to show that you love her after all?
