Thank God For You - poem

Thank God for the rainbows in the sky
That tell me His love will never die
Unlike the wavering love of mankind
That fades soon before we even realize

Thank God for the thorns surrounding the rose
They are there to protect and help it grow
You can't reach the rose if you can't bear the pain
In exchange for something beautiful you wish to gain

Thank God for His tender loving care
For constantly answering my prayers
For cheering me up again and again
His love makes me forget all my pain

Thank God for you who came into my life
So silently that I don't even realize
Your persevering love is so strong
That even my cold heart feels warm

Third Month - poem

Indeed the ray of hope was here at last,
Yet it quickly vanished and just gone past.

Why kept so silent, why just walked away?
What's my crime, what did I do wrong today?

Why do I deserve to be treated like that?
Why killed my joy, why made me very sad?

Third month is going to be worse than month two,
Gloom fills the air, days ahead seem blue too.

Three Months - poem

First month is just like honey moon
Full of words that make love bloom
Calls here and there that make heart speed
And love grows quickly just like a seed

Second month is just like reaching the end
Silence seems to be the usual stand
Tiredness in the body seems to quickly grow
The same goes for the weary soul

Third month is something that no one know
Will it be the end only time will show
Hope that the gloom will quickly past
And the ray of hope will be here at last

Desensitize - poem

never hold on too tightly,
or he can't 'breathe' properly,
then soon he'll 'die',
and I will surely cry.

just let him go, it is fine,
if he returns, he is mine,
if he doesn't, nothing I can do,
but to accept the truth.

so I need to desensitize
this 'missing' feeling of mine,
let him do what he likes,
and I do what I mind.

My Heart Broke - poem

My heart broke into many pieces,
nothing could console my sadness,
no one could help me stop my tears,
from flowing like a fountain sure.

Why should we let doubts enter our minds
by the things others said or felt?
Why should we let words replace truth with lies
causing us to forget to do what's right?

Faith, why turned into doubt?
Hope, why saw a dark cloud?
Love, why gone so cold?
Aren't these three to stay even when we're old?

I hope not to blame nor complain
but to accept that's my life to live
till the day I go to a better place
where I could find eternal solace

May God Be With Him - poem

Came home from my shopping
and waited for him to come in,
but he's no where to be found
and couldn't see him around.

Started to miss him yet angry;
soon begin to fear and worry;
then begin to pray for his safety
and commit him to my Father of mercy.

May God be with him
and keep him safe today;
may God protect him
and watch him in his way.

Is There Love? - poem

How can a guy claims he loves a gal
if in his mind she is so arrogant,
she is bossy and unreasonable,
she doesn't have love for others, etc?

How can a gal accept the love of a guy
if she feels he has low regards for her,
she feels lousy and unworthy of him,
what she shares out of love is deemed as something else?

Love believes in the loved one,
it clarifies, not assume;
it listens for the intention, not the words;
it corrects gently, not rebuke sharply.

Love never belittle the loved one,
it does not label or insult,
it does not make one feel 'rotten'
it does not remove one's self-esteem.
