Work and Me

I am very accident prone to accident, said my best friend. True, I just got my finger cut by my office toilet roll holder last night. This is the 3rd time accident happened to me while at my new job. :(

Anyway, my job is quite challenging... keeping my mind busy, always thinking of creative and non-traditional ways to solve problems at work. At times, I felt frustrated by office politics, but I am learning how to get things done in spite of that. Thank God for giving me the strength to persevere on. I like the passage for tonight's devotion found in Isaiah 40:28-31:
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Btw, you may visit cssmania to spot the work of my best friend, and vote for him if you like. If you can spot his work, I shall give you a prize. :D

Another Tiring Day

I had another tiring day today...

1. Went to the market this morning to do this week's marketing. I kind of enjoy it. My mind instantly thought of many things I would like to cook while I was shopping... hehe

2. Cleaned up many areas/utensil not properly cleaned by our domestic helper who has just left. Wow! Discovered more dirty jobs. :(

Actually I don't mind doing housework... I do enjoy thinking of ways in which I may make life better in the home.

Oh ya, for my blog subscribers... I would appreciate if you could leave a comment here so I know that you have no problem finding my new blog here.

Thanks, Richard and JF for being the first and second (respectively) to comment at my blog... other than Tommy of course. :D

Thanks, Tommy for the 'renovation' work you have done. I know you slept very late last night just to do it for me. Appreciate that very much!

* A Poem for Tommy *

Thank you for designing this blog,
which shows you do and not just talk.
Thank you for being very kind
in giving me your precious time.
Thank you for being so loving
in sending me so many nice drawings.

Sometimes when I am down and out,
you would help to remove my doubts.
Sometimes when I feel so moody,
you know how to make me happy.
Sometimes when I cry in the night,
you would pray to make my heart light.

Whenever you are feeling blue,
remember, I'm here for you too.
When you need one to understand,
remember, here I always am.
When you need one to love and care,
remember, I'll always be there.

My New Blog Design

Finally, I have settled down in this brand new place. I like it here very much! :)

Thanks to Tommy for kindly designing this blog for me... for free again... hehe. Guess why he did that?

You see, Tommy is such a 'perfectionist' when it comes to "Design" or things visual. He has been complaining about my other blog designs since the first time he visited them, though he admitted I have got good contents. But my unprofessional designs (or rather blog-city.com designs) irritate him so much that he doesn't feel like reading my posts. :(

I have to admit that I am no professional. Anyway, I appreciate Tommy for not just talk, but really do something to help me get it changed. Thank you so much, Tommy!!

So now with this new blog look, designed by the professional designer, I would expect him to read and comment more often from now onward. Right, Tommy? :P

Group Email Headache

I thought I could settle down at this new blog quickly and start informing my regular blog readers and friends of my new blog address. Alas! To my dismay, my YAHOO! and Google Group email address couldn't be used for this blog as I could for my other blogs. *sigh*

I have wasted a few days looking for a solution to my group email problem. I also feel really bad having to waste Tommy's time in trying to check if I have messed up his design codes. However, I think the problem lies in a bug with Blogger for group emailing.

Very Sorry, Tommy. :( Thanks for your understanding and help even though you are so busy with work.

One comfort I have is that I have learnt certain things about group emailing and also to be more careful when come to coding. Perhaps God don't want me to set up the mailing list? *eyes rolling*

Anyway, to those of you who have already joined my Google group above, once again "Thanks" for your interest in reading my blog. I can't send you my blog post alert as yet till I find a better solution, but I will email all group members if I need to 'run' again. Most of you would know by now that I am a blog 'marathon runner'. Sorry to make you run with me.... hehe

To those who happens to drop by my blog, you may also join my Google group if you really like reading my blog.

Hope to hear all your comments again soon.
