I Fly Away

My dear friends and readers,

You must be wondering why I have not posted for so so long. The reason is I have done a very thorough reflection (during my recent holidays) on my life and my purpose of blogging. Blogging for the last 4 years have achieved its aim in setting my trapped emotion free... the hurts in my childhood days and the hurts as an adult.

Along the way, I have made a number of good online friends whom I could share my thoughts freely. Thank God for all of you! Some of you have a very special place in my heart because of what we have gone through together. I will treasure those memories always. Some of you have told me I have made a positive difference to your lives. I like you to know that you have made a difference to mine too. Thank God for the experiences I have in blogging and the friendship we have developed thus far.

Yes, along the way we may have hurt each other in what we did or said, or what we didn't do or didn't say. Yet God has allowed them to be used to make us stronger and not to tear us down. Our wings may be broken for a while when we are hurt, but this is where we need to let God heal us so that we can fly again. If I have hurt you in anyway, my friends, please pardon me.

I like the book/article, "You Can't Fly With A Broken Wing"by Dick Innes (also the author of daily encouraging devotions for "Daily Encounter"). It has helped me to forgive, to let go, and to fly again. I feel freed! You may download it and read it for yourself.

Another article that touched my heart (I felt like crying as I read) is "Born To Fly". My friends, if you have Jesus Christ in your heart, you are born to fly like the eagle, don't be a chicken. ;) If you do not have Jesus Christ in your heart, I urge you to let Him in so you can experience what I have experienced.

Though I may not update my current blogs anymore (no more need to do so) we may still communicate by email or msn messenger, if you like.

May God be with you wherever you are.

Cheers!

Yourfriend, Bee

My Blog Migration

My second blog, http://iranaway.blog-city.com, at blog-city will no longer be free come 31 Dec 07... so sad. I have already lost all my posts in my first blog, http://yourfriendbee.blog-city.com. I am not going to lose my second blog as well. Therefore, I have to migrate all my posts there to this blog. There are too many fond memories which I would like to keep and read them when I am old.

I hope Blogger will not follow the footsteps of blog-city.com to charge bloggers.

Taking A Break

My Dear Readers and Friends,

Thank you so much, especially Richard (my regular reader), for reading my blog. Thank you for your friendship during my stay here.

I have finally completed my journal in this cyber space. It's time I close the chapter and move on. I have learned many things when I started to blog in 2003 and posted my first poem...

Here I Am - poem

Here I am in this new home at the cyber world
Visitors come and go, but I hope someday they will know
That no matter how big is this world
There is always someone who cares for their souls
Someone who looks beyond their faults and love them just like gold
Here I am to jot down my thoughts like a diary
Hopefully they will come in handy
As a journal for my Research Study
And that my faraway friends can also catch a glimpse of me

-Bee, posted Friday, 17 October 2003

I hope that you will know that "There is always someone who cares for your soul, Someone who looks beyond your faults and love you just like gold."

Goodbye & take care.

Thanks For Being There

It's been a long time since I last updated my blog. Some friends and readers were wondering if I have been ok. So I like to thank those who have contacted me in one way or another to check me out. I really appreciate your concern.

Actually I have been feeling quite tired physically the whole of this week due to lack of sleep. I went back to work on Thur and slowly tuned back to my working routine. Yes, I kept myself very busy so that I won't have time to waste on unproductive thoughts or activities.

I was again headhunted this week for managerial positions, but I need to seriously and prayerfully consider my options. I shall leave them with God.

A Pixel Art Story

One day, decided to do something special for a special friend. So spent hours to painstakingly draw a pixel art for. The pixel art might not look like and she really feels like a real 'cartoon' each time she looks at it. :P Yet would like to tell

Thank you for all you have done to make this blog looks so good. Thanks for maintaining it once in a while when it goes wild because of its curious yet ignorant owner. Sorry if I have been too fussy. Your thought and effort is much more important than the product itself. What you have done will never be forgotten. :)

Why do I blog?

Blogging has become something very commercialized recently. You can make money out of it if you have many readers. Therefore, some bloggers would welcome all types of people even to their personal blog, allowing anonymous comments to increase readership.

Well, there is nothing wrong with opening one's blog to any Tom, Dick and Harry, if money making is the purpose of a particular blog.

As for me, I do care WHO READS my blog. That’s why my blog keeps ‘running’ so I can stay as private as possible, only sharing my private thoughts with genuine readers and friends, if any. When I do move my blog to a new address (quite frequent), I will inform this group of people because I treasure them.

How did I get started in blogging?

I was introduced to the world of blogging slightly more than 2 years ago, on 17 Oct 03, after reading a blog of a person at a Christian forum. I felt so excited that I have found a way to express my trapped thoughts and feelings.

Not only that, blogging has helped me learnt many things I would never have learnt, such as basic web designing and codes, use of search engines, use of different software, releases my hidden creativity, gives me inspiration to compose poem, makes me a channel of blessing to others and makes a difference to them, making new online friends, and most of all to get close to God.

I am a very private person and I don’t usually share anything personal with friends. I blog solely to release myself and not to attract attention, therefore, I don't care IF PEOPLE READ my blog... i.e. I don’t care WHETHER ANYONE READS my blog or not. Even if no one reads it I will still blog.

I hope those who are reading my blog will bear in mind that this is my private online diary. I am not out to preach to anyone about my God... I am just jotting down my personal encounters. If you feel offended by my thoughts of God, do feel free to abstain from reading.

So why do I blog?

For the same reason when I first started and was mentioned in my first composed poem, “Here I Am”.

A Poem for Tommy

* A Poem for Tommy *

Thank you for designing this blog,
which shows you do and not just talk.
Thank you for being very kind
in giving me your precious time.
Thank you for being so loving
in sending me so many nice drawings.

Sometimes when I am down and out,
you would help to remove my doubts.
Sometimes when I feel so moody,
you know how to make me happy.
Sometimes when I cry in the night,
you would pray to make my heart light.

Whenever you are feeling blue,
remember, I'm here for you too.
When you need one to understand,
remember, here I always am.
When you need one to love and care,
remember, I'll always be there.

My New Blog Design

Finally, I have settled down in this brand new place. I like it here very much! :)

Thanks to Tommy for kindly designing this blog for me... for free again... hehe. Guess why he did that?

You see, Tommy is such a 'perfectionist' when it comes to "Design" or things visual. He has been complaining about my other blog designs since the first time he visited them, though he admitted I have got good contents. But my unprofessional designs (or rather blog-city.com designs) irritate him so much that he doesn't feel like reading my posts. :(

I have to admit that I am no professional. Anyway, I appreciate Tommy for not just talk, but really do something to help me get it changed. Thank you so much, Tommy!!

So now with this new blog look, designed by the professional designer, I would expect him to read and comment more often from now onward. Right, Tommy? :P

Group Email Headache

I thought I could settle down at this new blog quickly and start informing my regular blog readers and friends of my new blog address. Alas! To my dismay, my YAHOO! and Google Group email address couldn't be used for this blog as I could for my other blogs. *sigh*

I have wasted a few days looking for a solution to my group email problem. I also feel really bad having to waste Tommy's time in trying to check if I have messed up his design codes. However, I think the problem lies in a bug with Blogger for group emailing.

Very Sorry, Tommy. :( Thanks for your understanding and help even though you are so busy with work.

One comfort I have is that I have learnt certain things about group emailing and also to be more careful when come to coding. Perhaps God don't want me to set up the mailing list? *eyes rolling*

Anyway, to those of you who have already joined my Google group above, once again "Thanks" for your interest in reading my blog. I can't send you my blog post alert as yet till I find a better solution, but I will email all group members if I need to 'run' again. Most of you would know by now that I am a blog 'marathon runner'. Sorry to make you run with me.... hehe

To those who happens to drop by my blog, you may also join my Google group if you really like reading my blog.

Hope to hear all your comments again soon.

Dearest Blog Diary - poem

Dearest Blog Diary,

Thank you for being there all the time

for me to unload what's in my mind.

Thank you for listening to all my sorrows,

the things I can't keep for tomorrow.

Thank you for sharing my happiness too,

the things that make me feel so good.

Thank you again so very much

with sincerity from my heart.

To all who love to read my blog - poem

To all who love to read my blog
Thank you for making this your stop

Just to let you know it might be moving soon
To another address one of these afternoons

So if you like me to inform you
Of the address that is new

Kindly leave me a message
I'll tell you once I know the date

See you then at the new place
If not, wish you happiness everyday.

Who could know me - poem

Who could know me other than the One above?

Who could understand while I am still on earth?

Always longing to let my thoughts go free

And all that have been trapped inside of me

Hoping that my being can be fully understood

By one who would listen as much as one could

But such a one may never ever appear

So none can comprehend my joy and fear

Now my blog will carry all my thoughts

To someone out there I know not
